Terms of usage:
I’ll keep it short and simple. All we want to do is provide free hosting to those who deserve it. We are not charging you in any way, so you should not do anything that might make us stop providing hosting to you.
Rules are:
- No adult contents or links to adult contents.
- No website that overload our servers.
- No proxy or gateway or leeching or torrent tracker sites.
- No file hosting or file storage sites (use megaupload.com).
- No illegal content on your website.
- No content that may cause copyright violations.
- No hate blogs.
That’s all there is to it! We don’t believe in 5 page long rules which even we don’t read! So just seven easy points to remember.
Violation will cause your site to be deleted without warning and your email and username blocked permanently. Not to mention a hefty lawsuit if the police catches you…

Policy and Service Guidelines:
We provide web hosting to many users, and thus we have a responsibility to protect everyone and to provide the best services available. So we agreed on the following terms so that everyone is equally benefited.
Content:
All services provided may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States or international law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.
We do not allow sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to our servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.
Examples of unacceptable content or links:
- Pirated software
- Adult content
- Hate or cult sites (exception of gaming cults)
- Hacker programs or archives
- Warez sites
- Unlicensed Music (MP3 Files)
We will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Somik’s Webhost and our network or server providers are not responsible for any damages caused by services provided, and makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide.
Commercial Advertising:
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email (spaming), from our server or using an email address or domain that is maintained on our machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. We will delete the account and its data without warning since we take the issue of spamming very seriously. Everyone had enough of this spamming people and we are all working together to reduce it.
Background Running Applications:
Background running applications are not allowed since this creates a high server load. Cron jobs are allowed every 24 hours running no more then 5 minutes. That’s the best we can offer on our shared servers.
IRC:
We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.
Server Abuse:
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server, or customer is strictly prohibited. The account will be deleted without warning and will be reported. This includes using scripts like RapidLeech which is BANNED on our server.
Refusal of Service:
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion.
All accounts and customers using our services must adhere to the above policies. Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account deactivation without notice.
Cancellation:
If for any reason you are not satisfied with our services, please let us know. We build our services around making hosting simple for the customer and want you to be happy. If for some reason we cannot meet your needs, you may notify us through the contact form.
Notification to Cancel:
You can send your account cancellation request at any time. Please process your cancellation request through our contact form. Please be sure to remove any data you want to retain, since once we cancel the account the data is lost. We will cancel your account in about 24 hours from when we get the request.
Data Transfer Allowances (monthly data transfer / bandwidth):
Our policy is to notify the customer in the event an account comes close to or exceeds their included monthly limit. In this case we are willing to increase the bandwidth based on your website content and visitors. However, it is very unlikely that your website will exceed our limits since its pretty high.
